Google has introduced the Google Chrome Browser by publishing a cartoon drawn by Scott McCloud that provides the first public details about Google Chrome Browser. 

According to the cartoon this Open Source browser is based on WebKit and powered by Google Gears. 

The cartoon explains main features of the Google Chrome Browser: 

• Tabs for each process
• Improved performance of JavaScript processes using its own JavaScript virtual machine called V8 built for Google Chrome Browser
• Improved User Experience and Search capabilities
• Security and Safe Browsing
