A certain " jacekowski" has managed to bring the web browser Google Chrome (Chromium in the version here, not official) on the Nokia N900 (under Maemo).
The result is quite good, the Flash appears almost correctly but still quite slow, scrolling is very difficult (via lifts), but it's a very good start.

To install Chromium on your Nokia N900 :

    • Download 5.0.369.2.deb chromium and libxss 1.1.3.deb toand put them in the folder "Nokia N900" (which is equivalent to "MyDocs")
    • Launch Terminal and type "root" - to enter "root"
    • Type cd /home/user/MyDocs/ - will go to the directory MyDocs
    • Type dpkg-i-libxss 1.1.3.deb - to install the required library before installing Chromium. Tip: You can start typing the name "lib" and make "tabs" (touch buttons) to display the proposed names
    • Type dpkg-i-chromium 5.0.369.2.deb - to install the port of Chromium

    Enjoy!
