Net Applications' June Web browser market share data is out and Google Chrome grew to 7.24 percent, up from 7.04 percent in May when Chrome cracked the 7 percent mark.

While Chrome is still growing, Microsoft Internet Explorer rose back above 60 percent to 60.32 percent after falling to 59.95 percent in April and 59.75 percent in May.

Microsoft IE Marketing man Ryan Gavin touted the .57 percent growth in a blog post July 1, adding that the growth came despite the Browser Choice Screen users in Europe see.

Safari's gain was negligible, going from 4.77 percent share in May to 4.85 percent in June. Mozilla Firefox, which was approached 25 percent share in 2009, slipped below 24 percent to 23.81 percent for the month.

Interestingly, Net Applications rates Chrome's lower than StatCounter, which said June 28 that Chrome commands a 9.4 percent browser market share.

Meanwhile, Google is celebrating the addition of Adobe Flash Player support to the latest stable version of Chrome with this Chrome Fastball game on YouTube.
