Google Promotes Google Chrome On Bing
It’s no secret that Google has been aggressively pushing its Google Chrome web browser across a variety of its services and partner’s web sites.
Now, Neowin reports that the search giant has decided to spice the things up and advertise on Microsoft’s search engine as well.
Once user types phrases to download different web browsers, such as, “get firefox”, the following ad will appear:

While it’s nothing spectacular, once you combine all the advertising campaigns, one can only wonder how many millions of dollars Google is actually putting into the Google Chrome promotion, but hey, at least its working.
Google Chrome: Now With Ads!

In the world where most people block ads and want to get everything for free, Google has decided to try a different approach: in-browser advertising.
Technology blog Ghacks has found an interesting screenshot in the Google’s Plus group, which shows and ad in the Google Chrome web browser, which says: “Get a Chromebook for the holidays: the computer powered by Chrome.“
How did users respond? Opinions appear to be mixed; some people suggest switching to Firefox while others don’t see anything wrong with that, after all, Google Chrome is free.
Whether or not this trend continues, it remains to be seen although we don’t expect for Google to continue running such promotions more than few times a year.
What do you think about in browser advertising?
Google Chrome: The Johnny Cash Project
Makes web a beautiful place.
Google Chrome has recently unveiled a recent project of their own, called “Johnny Cash Project”.
What is it all about? The search giant has asked Johnny Cash fans from all over the world to come together and create a memorial music video for his last recording.
The final result is amazing and can be viewed in the following page.
Adobe Promotes Google Chrome

Now here is something interesting I noticed today.
When downloading the latest stable version of the Adobe Flash Player, a checkbox appeared, offering me to install Google Chrome as well.
However, if you hit F5 several times, it will suggest you a different kind of software, making us wonder, how much such promotion cost for the Google (if any?).
Google Chrome: Lady Gaga
With the recently announced Google Chrome promotion, here comes another video from the search giant and this one features Lady Gaga (oh no).
Google Chrome: Dear Sophie
As Google begins its biggest off-line TV campaign called “the Web is what you make of it”, here comes another ad for you to check out.
Google Chrome Sponsors Free Inflight Wi-Fi

It’s been a good year for Google Chrome and company is giving something back.
Starting from November 20, 2010 through January 2, 2011, Google will offer a free inflight wi-fi for every passenger of domestic AirTran, Delta and Virgin America flights.
“Just bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop or mobile device and stay connected to family and friends while you travel,” Google says.
Thanks, Armin.

For most people, "Google" has become synonymous with "search". Heck, Cambridge dictionary lists it as a verb.
But as we all know, Google can do lots more than just search. You've got Gmail, and YouTube, and Maps, and the calculator, and a whole bunch of other Web properties.
While Gmail is enormously popular, not all Google projects fare so well (cough Wave cough). Even most of the search operators for Google itself are confined to the geekier crowd.
